tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19008292259574719862011-07-28T20:54:34.868-07:00This blog seeks the truth for NC State.NCSU Truthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05653969624040057339noreply@blogger.comBlogger11100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1900829225957471986.post-34803290287546667502009-10-10T15:52:00.000-07:002009-10-10T16:24:28.083-07:00In what is an unbelievable development NCSU's "<a href="http://www.ncsu.edu/featured-stories/community-of-scholars/june-2009/chancellor-woodward/index.php">Chancellor in the interim</a>" fired a long-time, well-respected and dedicated employee last week, Lennie Barton, head of the NCSU Alumni Association.<br /><br />Is this the "<a href="http://www.alumni.ncsu.edu/blog/2009/06/09/about-interim-chancellor-jim-woodward/">leading through a challenging period</a>" leadership NC State deserves and that Erskine Bowles had in mind when he selected Woodward?<br /><br />The facts show that Lennie Barton oversaw the fabulous <a href="http://www.alumni.ncsu.edu/parkcenter/">Park Alumni Building</a>, increased alumni membership, revitalized alumni events and reunions, and more.<br /><br />A justification is needed for this decision from this short-term chancellor.
